Nawah owes its genesis to the imagination of a man - its MD, Mr. Siddharth Sekhar Mohapatra.
When the man was a young boy, he experienced the world of business in all its dimensions as he belonged to an illustrious business family, which was a torchbearer in Odisha's growth story in the early 70's & 80's.
Education was given a premium in the family as a result of which he completed his MBA and instead of choosing the 'go to' option of joining the family business, chose instead to work in the Indian corporate circle. He excelled in Marketing in his first stint in a corporate job. Very soon, he realized that he could do the same on his own. After tasting success in the field of Marketing, Recruitment, and Training, Siddharth chose to fall back to Odisha. Even then he chose not to join the family business but to stick his neck out in the cutthroat world of Real Estate. Within no time Siddharth undertook to understand the nuances of sales, land acquisition, construction, and legalities of the real estate sector. So impressed were his employers that he was offered the opportunity to partner with the business. Siddharth politely excused himself from the opportunity and burnt the midnight oil to conceive, carry, and deliver NAWAH.
Nawah saw the light of the day in 2014. There were many a teething problem but Siddharth surmounted all the challenges which came his way. Things moved slowly but surely. Nawah's first project & Grand Avenue rolled on. 84 flats were sold out in the blink of an eye. Nawah had arrived, not only for its customers but also for all the stakeholders and government authorities. Nawah got into the good books of agencies and government authorities for its competency and credibility. The company had now started firing on all four cylinders. It was now the time for its second project, which was 9 Arcadia. An ultra-premium gated community with well-differentiated Gothic architecture-inspired exteriors came up.
The result was no different. It was an action replay—64 units sold like hotcakes. Nawah was now doing justice to the exponential growth curve. Planning and execution were now happening at break-neck speed. "Stagnancy is death, growth is life." Inspired by this philosophy, Nawah embarked on its third project—9 Boulevard, on the most sought-after destination of Bhubaneswar, located at Raghunathpur.
Standing tall amongst the competition. 9 Boulevard created enough buzz in the market with 184 housing units getting lapped up in record time. Nawah recently is consolidating its real estate presence with the Boulevard extension with 340 units up for grabs. Also on the anvil is Nawah Emporio, a super luxury signature property that will cater to the taste of the discerning luxury buyer.
Nawah has a vision which is not restricted to Odisha alone. As Nawah consolidates its stature in Odisha with upcoming projects in Bhubaneswar, Nawah envisions making its footprint across India. New projects are being planned in locations like Vizag, Kolkata & Hyderabad in the next 3-5 years.
The long-term vision of Nawah is not restricted to real estate alone. Nawah’s strategy is committed to diversifying into other business domains in the next 10 years. Nawah desires to evolve from a company to a conglomerate. To give shape and do justice to this plan, Nawah will get into Health Care (Hospitals), Education (Schools), and Steel Plants.
